PvP Rules
Here you can find PvP Rules for DayZ
No Combat Logging: Combat logging is strictly prohibited under any circumstances. Combat logging is defined as intentionally logging out when encountering another player in a potential PvP situation. Logging out to avoid confrontation, whether by retreating into a building or diving into a bush, is not allowed. Violators of this rule will face a 3-day ban for the first offense and a permanent ban for the second offense, without exceptions.
No Exploiting Glitches or Bugs: Do not utilize glitches or bugs to enter areas that you shouldn't be able to access. This includes using unintended exploits to gain concealment or cover from enemies. Players found exploiting glitches or bugs will face appropriate penalties.
Capture Limit: If you capture a player, you should not hold them captive for a period longer than 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, the captured player should be released. This rule is in place to prevent prolonged disruptions to players' gameplay experiences. Please do not abuse this feature to intentionally ruin the game for others. Take the necessary actions and then allow the player to continue their gameplay.
No Prolonged Griefing: Do not engage in excessive or prolonged harassment of other players or their bases. This includes repeatedly destroying or damaging their base, killing their captured players excessively, or intentionally causing prolonged disruptions to their gameplay.
No Toxic Behavior: Toxic behavior such as excessive trash-talking, abusive language, or purposely insulting other players is not tolerated. Maintain a respectful and sportsmanlike attitude during PvP encounters.
No Spawn Camping: Do not camp or ambush players near spawn points. Give newly spawned players a fair chance to gear up and engage in the game before engaging in PvP.
No Exploiting Safe Zones: Do not exploit safe zones or designated non-PvP areas to engage in combat or use them as a hiding place during PvP encounters. Respect the boundaries and purpose of these zones.
No Racial or Offensive Symbols: Avoid using racial or offensive symbols in your character name, clan tag, or base decorations. Foster an inclusive and welcoming environment for all players.
No Targeting New Players: Avoid specifically targeting new or inexperienced players for PvP encounters. Allow them time to learn and progress in the game before engaging in intense PvP battles.
